Dr. Liew is an accomplished scholar, educator, and leader with an extensive background in multiple fields. Born in An-dong, South Korea, into a family with a legacy in education and public service, she moved to the United States at age 24. Before immigrating, she held various roles, including as an English teacher, SAT instructor, hospital medical staffer, and assistant pastor, building a solid community engagement and education foundation.
Her academic achievements span several disciplines. She earned two undergraduate degrees from DaeHan Theological University and Calvin University, a master’s in theology from Anyang Graduate School of Theology and a master’s in Christian education from Calvin Bible College. Dr. Liew also pursued associate degrees in nursing and studied English literature and translation, showcasing her versatility. She completed a DBA in international business trade and policy from Pacific State University and earned three postdoctoral Ph.D.s in nonprofit management, political leadership, and Christian education.
Dr. Liew further expanded her expertise through alumni programs at prestigious institutions such as Harvard, Wharton, and MIT, studying business leadership, AI, real estate development, and economic behavior. She also studied law, completing the Juris Doctor program at Abraham Lincoln Law School and certifications in legal fields, demonstrating her interdisciplinary approach.
Dr. Liew has cultivated a diverse skill set and extensive knowledge base through her impressive academic and professional journey, underscoring her commitment to lifelong learning and dedication to meaningful contributions across industries and communities.
